Let the Library send you on a tantalizing reading adventure. We’ll connect Teens (13+) and Adults (18+) with a mysterious wrapped book. Discover a new author, genre, or series! Check it out, take it home, and give it a chance to make an impression.
Was it a treat? Was it a trick? You decide if what you unwrapped was a sweet treat or a dispiriting trick. Did the book surprise you and transform from delightful to fiendish just like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde? We want to hear all about it!
Even if you decided it was not for you, all is not lost. Inside each book is a link to a ‘Trick or Treat: Was it Sweet’ form -- just fill it out before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 30 to enter a drawing for a chance to win an Amazon gift card!

Checkout Books Wrapped Books
Available October 2 - 31. Make sure to check out the book at a self-check station.
Unwrap at Home
As tempting as it might be, only unwrap the book(s) once you get home.
Start Reading
Promise to give the book a chance and read the first 50 pages. After that, if you know it’s not for you, return it and move on to the next Trick or Treat book.
Rate Your Read
After reading the book don’t forget to fill out and submit your ‘Trick or Treat: Was it Sweet’ form below. All ‘Trick or Treat: Was it Sweet’ forms must be turned in before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, for a chance to win prizes. No late forms will be accepted.
