Below is a list of online literature resources for adults. This includes access to additional digital books currently being offered free to public libraries. 

Book Browse
Offers reviews and reading recommendations for library users. Access to this resource is temporarily free to all libraries during the COVID-19 situation. 

Enki Library
In response to COVID-19 and library closures, Califa is providing open access to enki library to any California library card holder. Your can access enki ebooks by entering your library card # and your last name. Please visit their website for a collection of eBooks.

Enki Library — No wait items
This collection uses geolocation to provide immediate access to anyone physically located in the state of California. The library includes over 5,300 simultaneous use ebooks from leading publishers as well as the Indie Author Project Select collection, which features over 400 award-winning indie-published ebooks, some of which are right here in California!

Project Gutenberg 
This site contains a library of over 60,000 free eBooks. Choose among free epub and Kindle eBooks, download them or read them online.

Open Library
Open Library is a project of Internet Archive intending to create “one web page for every book ever published.”
