Immerse yourself in the art of metal embossing, or aluminio repujado. Repujado is the Spanish craft of pressing thin metal sheets with simple tools to achieve an embossed look. Explore various tools and techniques to help you get started with this ancient traditional art. Then transform a flat sheet of metal into stunning, three-dimensional art perfect for decorating your garden or home!

Teens (13+), spread some cheer and help us bring joy to residents of a local senior assisted living center by creating crafts and cards! Visit the Teen or Adult Services Desk to pick up a to-go kit. Use the materials provided to make two holiday cards and one craft, then return your completed creations to the library. For your contribution, you will earn two school community service hours. Please bring your school community service form. Kits are available on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.
