Summer Reading Fun Fest
Join us for our Summer Reading Fun Fest on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Kick off the start of summer by enjoying carnival games, crafts, a magician, and other fun activities! Enjoy a magic show presented by Dave Skale with repeat 30-minute performances at 10:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 12:15 p.m.
How It Works
Register online beginning June 9.
Log your reading online. For every four (4) hours read and logged online, earn prizes and be automatically entered into a raffle. Raffle prizes will be awarded at the end of summer!

Kids Rules
Participants must be between the ages of 0 and 12. Older participants can register for the Teen (ages 13-17) or Adult (18+) Reading Program.
Registration begins Monday, June 9. Last day to collect earned prizes is Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 4:45 p.m.
Time spent reading or listening to library books between Monday, June 9 – Saturday, August 9 may be logged online. Books read prior to June 9, 2025 may not be applied to the reading program.
Reading must be logged online to earn prizes and enter the raffle.
Prizes include an educational prize such as a pencil, activity book, bookmark, speed cubes, and a book; toys such as a bouncy ball, spinning tops, dino gliders, squirt toys, pull back toys, or plush; and a variety of certificates.
All prizes are subject to availability and may change without notice. Prizes cannot be substituted or exchanged.

Log your reading online. For the first eight (8) books read, you will receive one (1) grand prize raffle ticket for each book logged (for a total of eight (8) raffle tickets). Plus, each raffle ticket also enters you into a Weekly Prize Drawing. Already read eight (8) books and want to go above and beyond? Continue to log your books read and for every book logged, you will receive an additional grand prize raffle ticket to claim. Collect raffle tickets for up to 50 books.
A $2 Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library gift certificate will be awarded after logging eight books read.
Extra grand prize raffle tickets can be earned through completing the activities badge. Complete three activities to receive this badge and earn three extra grand prize raffle tickets.
Teen Rules
Participants must be 13 -17 years of age or older, and not registered for other Yorba Linda Public Library Summer Reading Programs.
Registration begins Monday, June 9. All reading and grand prize raffle tickets must be logged before 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
All grand prize raffle tickets turned in must include the title of the book read.
Books read from Monday, June 9 – Saturday, August 9 may be counted toward reading goals. Books read prior to June 9, 2025 may not be applied to the reading program.
Prizes must be picked up in person. Weekly prizes and $2 Book Corner Certificates need to be claimed by Saturday, August 30 and grand prizes by Saturday, September 27.
